Unity Starts at the Top

Hmm…seems I was premature yesterday in declaring the public option officially macadamized by the wheels of political bi-partisanship.

I mean why draw any conclusions just because the Secretary of HHS says that a public option is “not the essential element” of the plan.

But apparently that was so Sunday morning.

Marcus Barham at HuffPo details a day’s worth of message mixing, culminating with an unnamed administration source declaring Sec. Sebelius a victim of the dreaded D.C. affliction, mis-speaking.

The most used word of the day?
Competition, so that many must vie for the privilege of profiting off Americans’ illnesses.
